New this year, listen to rising stars from the outdoor acoustic stage.

Thanks to Viking, award-winning cruise line, you will be able to watch performances from new bands and singers in the Palace Gardens before the concert, bringing an exciting new addition to the festival!

Each day there'll be two performances from the new Viking Stage in the East Front Gardens. Emerging singer-songwriters and acoustic acts will perform a 40 minute set, providing a relaxing musical backdrop to your summer evening.

The Gates open at 5.30pm so festival-goers can relax in the beautiful Palace Gardens before the show. You won't be able to resist the summer feeling while sitting in the Gardens while sipping a glass of bubbly and listening to acoustic music. 

Who knows? You may see the next rising star on the Viking Stage! 

Make the most of your visit by arriving early to Hampton Court and explore the Gardens and see live music performances from the Viking Stage.

One Eyed Jacks - Saturday 9th June

One Eyed Jacks One Eyed Jacks are 7 musicians mixing soulful melodies, punchy rhythms and sexy harmonies to create music which is as distinctive as it is powerful. Their energetic live performances are guaranteed to have audiences grooving from the first track. OEJ are one of the hottest live bands in Brighton right now! 

Archie Langley - Tuesday 12th June

21 year-old Archie Langley is an indie-folk artist whose sound has been compared to Ben Howard and Bon Iver, with a hint of Matt Corby. Dreaming of a music career all his life, within just 6 weeks of his first open mic his incredible vocals and relatable songwriting was unmistakable. This earned caught the attention of BBC Introducing who have since premiered all 4 of his singles. 

Lily Lyons - Thursday 14th June

Lily Lyons is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter from South West London who has been quietly making her not so quiet way around the UK gigging scene for the past year. Her vocals in combination with her somewhat candid and seemingly simple lyrical print have truly given her a sound that is both timeless and completely her own.

 

Joe Dolman - Friday 15th June

For fans of James Bay, Passenger, Lewis Watson, Gavin James and Damien Rice; this is Joe Dolman. Two independently released EPs  landed him top 10 in the UK and US iTunes charts. Dolman has picked up BBC Radio 1 plays from the likes of Huw Stephens, airplay on BBC Introducing and his double sided single “Something Beautiful” has been play-listed by Apple Music and Spotify.

Thomas Ashby - Saturday 16th June

Folk and blues multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, channelling his roots, travels and experiences into a thought-provoking and sincere sound.

TAMZENE - Wednesday 20th June

TAMZENE started 2017 busking on the streets of the Highland Capital of Inverness. She went on to enjoy success with her debut offering ‘Lullaby’ which garnered airplay across a range of radio and TV networks.
