New this year, listen to rising stars from the outdoor acoustic stage.
Thanks to Viking, award-winning cruise line, you will be able to watch performances from new bands and singers in the Palace Gardens before the concert, bringing an exciting new addition to the festival!
Each day there'll be two performances from the new Viking Stage in the East Front Gardens. Emerging singer-songwriters and acoustic acts will perform a 40 minute set, providing a relaxing musical backdrop to your summer evening.
The Gates open at 5.30pm so festival-goers can relax in the beautiful Palace Gardens before the show. You won't be able to resist the summer feeling while sitting in the Gardens while sipping a glass of bubbly and listening to acoustic music.

Having finished his first demos, Lloyd started to make a name for himself on both the London music scene and further afield in the U.S. Lloyd's remarkable vocal skills and song-writing have armed him with a unique soulful-acoustic style that truly sets him apart.
Daisy Clark - Wednesday 6th June / Thursday 21st June
Crowned the Unsigned Music Awards 'Best Unsigned Female' just last year, nineteen-year-old singer-songwriter, Daisy Clark, is now ready to release her debut EP, Once Upon A Time. With her intricate song writing abilities, this latest release sees Daisy fulfilling all of the promise that has been heaped on her over the past few years. In 2016, Daisy posted a bedroom-recording of her covering Grease classic, Hopelessly Devoted to You, online and it has since garnered over thirteen million views. Daisy went on to release her first original track, 'Worlds Away' which received a glowing press reception and was playlisted by BBC Radio 2.
The Bench - Wednesday 6th June
The Bench offers you a raw, ever-evolving sound of pop funk with ear snatching hooks and upbeat groove. Their essence is all about storytelling ability and dedication to the audience which robs your attention while watching them live. The emotion of the melodies on top of energetic, playful rhythm sections gives the spice to the sound which describes the Bench. At the moment the band is working on their EP which is planned to be released by the end of summer.
Harley - Friday 8th June / Tuesday 19th June
Harley is a London based singer-songwriter, recently playing more gigs and open mics. Influenced by Pop Rock and Drum and Bass, she brings an uplifting stripped back acoustic sound.
Cappellino - Friday 8th June / Saturday 23rd June
Roberto Cappellino's debut EP was released after years of honing his craft in bands around Watford’s thriving scene. Following a year which included performances at Soho’s Ronnie Scott’s and Jamie Oliver’s Big Feastival, Roberto spent most of 2017 writing and recording his debut album Ghost Town, released 11th May 2018. Recorded at home with an acoustic guitar and loop pedal, the first single “Love Is All I Want” premiered on BBC 6 Music, with host Edward Adoo describing it as “so infectious”.
One Eyed Jacks - Saturday 9th June
One Eyed Jacks One Eyed Jacks are 7 musicians mixing soulful melodies, punchy rhythms and sexy harmonies to create music which is as distinctive as it is powerful. Their energetic live performances are guaranteed to have audiences grooving from the first track. OEJ are one of the hottest live bands in Brighton right now!
Archie Langley - Tuesday 12th June / Saturday 16th June
21 year-old Archie Langley is an indie-folk artist whose sound has been compared to Ben Howard and Bon Iver, with a hint of Matt Corby. Dreaming of a music career all his life, within just 6 weeks of his first open mic his incredible vocals and relatable songwriting was unmistakable. This earned caught the attention of BBC Introducing who have since premiered all 4 of his singles.
Melissa Bel - Tuesday 12th June
Melissa Bel has been captivating audiences and listeners her whole life with her powerful and soulful voice. The Toronto-bred, UK-based artist’s latest album, “In the Light”, which reached #49 on the iTunes Canada Top 200 Pop chart, is a killer combination of infectious pop beats, powerful soul vocals and heartwarming ballads.
Cecil - Thursday 14th June
Cecil is a singer songwriter from Berkshire. Her music has been supported by BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music, BBC Introducing and many more. With her style being compared to the likes of Kate Bush & Lana Del Rey, Cecil is definitely one you won’t want to miss an opportunity to see perform.
Lily Lyons - Thursday 14th June
Lily Lyons is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter from South West London who has been quietly making her not so quiet way around the UK gigging scene for the past year. Her vocals in combination with her somewhat candid and seemingly simple lyrical print have truly given her a sound that is both timeless and completely her own.
Polly Money - Friday 15th June
Mischievous melodies, swoon-inducing guitar work and poignant stories fuse together to create Polly Money’s sound. The Cornwall-come-London artist has opened for Muse in front of 80,000 at the Stade de France, supported Gabrielle Aplin in her hometown and represented BBC introducing at Glastonbury. Add a place on the main stage at Isle of Wight festival's 2016 bill and you’ve got the long and short of just how far she has come already.
Joe Dolman - Friday 15th June / Wednesday 20th June
For fans of James Bay, Passenger, Lewis Watson, Gavin James and Damien Rice; this is Joe Dolman. Two independently released EPs landed him top 10 in the UK and US iTunes charts. Dolman has picked up BBC Radio 1 plays from the likes of Huw Stephens, airplay on BBC Introducing and his double sided single “Something Beautiful” has been play-listed by Apple Music and Spotify.
Thomas Ashby - Saturday 16th June / Tuesday 19th June
Folk and blues multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, channelling his roots, travels and experiences into a thought-provoking and sincere sound.
TAMZENE - Wednesday 20th June
TAMZENE started 2017 busking on the streets of the Highland Capital of Inverness. She went on to enjoy success with her debut offering ‘Lullaby’ which garnered airplay across a range of radio and TV networks.
Jess Bishop - Thursday 21st June
Jess Bishop is an alternative folk/blues musician from Cornwall and currently based in Brighton. She released her first EP ‘Make a Sound’ last year and is about to release a new single on the 25th April. She has already had 2 tracks chosen as BBC introducing’s ‘Track of the day’ and plays on XFM radio. She is currently touring as a 2 piece act with Max Rafferty (Kooks) accompanying her on Guitar.
Hugo Valentine - Friday 22nd June
Hugo Valentine is a singer-songwriter from London, UK. He has played the piano since the age of four and had a classical training during his early childhood. Having spent time working in many different areas of music, he began writing his current strain of piano pop around four years ago, bringing together a wide range of influences, from Elton John, Billy Joel, Bowie and Queen to Radiohead, Tom Odell, Mika, among many others. Following his Glastonbury debut last summer, as well as some touring of the UK, he sold out his own showcase at the Phoenix Artist Club in Soho, London and is embarking on a UK tour this summer
Esme Neale - Saturday 23rd June
Esme is a singer-songwriter from London with a folk-pop sound. She released her first EP Find You There in 2017 and is currently working on a second one. Her songs are characterised by melodic hooks and reflective lyrics. In 2015, Esme attracted the attention of BBC Introducing, who have played multiple tracks of hers on the radio as well as having her perform at live events.
