Arrive in style

Journey to the palace by boat and enjoy the scenic stretch of the River Thames between Richmond, Kingston and Hampton Court Palace. Boats are operated by Turks Launches,  a 310 year old family-run company with a versatile fleet of traditional and modern luxury vessels.

Times are as follows –

Richmond to Hampton Court – 12 noon, 2pm, 4pm,

Kingston to Hampton Court – 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm

Richmond to Hampton Court takes around 1 hour and 45 mins, Kingston to Hampton Court takes around 35 mins.

Explore the palace grounds

Discover the public dramas and private lives of Henry VIII, his wives and their children. Make sure you take time to admire and relax in the 60 acres of world-renowned gardens.

The grounds opens at 12pm so you have plenty of time to walk around and appreciate the palace in full before the evening kicks off. Festival ticket holders also have the opportunity to save 25% on palace entry tickets.

 

Drop in to The Coppernose Cafe

Situated across the road from the front driveway of the palace, the Coppernose Cafe is the perfect spot to escape the afternoon heat, serving delicious coffees, teas and juices as well as breakfast, brunch, lunch, freshly baked pastries and cakes.
